Oh, the taste of a hot Krispy Kreme doughnut! As a fellow REALTOR so articulately and insightfully texted me, YUMM! Freshly proofed, then flipped in the golden oil gloriousness, and bathed under the sugary fountain of glaze these culinary delights have returned to Mesa — oh, happy day! Today at 5:30am people swarmed around the new/old store at Superstition Springs Blvd. & Power anxiously awaiting the return of extra calories in their diet. To mark the occasion our family enjoyed a “date night” which consisted of Taco Bell & Krispy Kreme. (Oh, the trainer would be so proud). It was a madhouse but with an unseasonably cooler evening it was a fine time to stand in line and hang out with the fam. There was much excitement in the air as the community welcomed Krispy Kreme back into our midst and dozens upon dozens of doughnuts flew out the door. Welcome back, Krispy Kreme…you were sorely missed!
